Donation Refund Policy
At Grama Swarajya Samastha, we deeply appreciate your generosity and commitment to our mission. As a nonprofit organization, we ensure that all donations are utilized to support our initiatives effectively. However, we understand that there may be situations where a refund request is necessary.
1. Donation Refund Eligibility
Refund requests will be considered in the following cases:
- The donation was made by mistake or in an incorrect amount.
- The donor’s transaction was unauthorized or fraudulent.
- The donation was made multiple times due to a technical error.
- The donor changed their mind within a reasonable time after the donation was made.
Refunds will not be issued in cases where:
- The donation has already been allocated for charitable programs.
- The donor has received tax exemption benefits for the donation.
- The request is made after 7 days of the donation transaction.
2. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Send an Email – Write to us at gramaswarajyasamastha@gmail.com with the subject line “Donation Refund Request.”
- Provide Details – Include the donor’s full name, transaction details, donation date, amount, mode of payment, and the reason for the refund request.
- Verification Process – Our team will review your request and verify the transaction details.
- Approval & Processing – If approved, the refund will be processed within 7-14 business days to the original payment method.
3. Mode of Refund
- Donations made via credit/debit card, UPI, or net banking will be refunded to the same account.
- If a donation was made via bank transfer, additional details may be required to process the refund.
4. Changes to This Policy
Grama Swarajya Samastha reserves the right to modify or update this Donation Refund Policy at any time. Donors are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
